Hi all, I’m trying to work out my income tax for the new year, given that a lot of news spoke about lowering income tax with the new government, but every calculator gives highly different results. I tried https://hvormegetefterskat.dk/ and https://dk.talent.com/en/tax-calculator also checked the skat.dk website, which is horrible to navigate if you don’t speak Danish, where it seemingly didn’t change since last year.
Can anyone please help with this? I work full time

  1. I haven’t used [skat.dk](https://skat.dk) in anything other than Danish, so I can’t speak to the level of detail they’ve made the non Danish versions. But with a quick look, it seem to be (near) fully available in English and German (at least the information part of it). The most important thing is to have a look at your “Forskudsopgørelse” and make sure the numbers in that is as accurate as possible. If you during the year experience large changes, fx if you get a raise, it’s a good idea to update the “Forskudsopgørelse” during the year as well.

  2. The lowering the taxes, is just a suggestion – best case it will be from 2024, if they government does not collapse before that.

If you go to [skat.dk](https://skat.dk) – and write how much you estimate in income (and deductions and so on) you will get your tax numbers.
