Why is there only one foreign looking employee in the picture? I’ll say dark skinned not in a racist manner but seriously, why the fuck do they have to use these white Maltese looking individuals when in reality 90% are foreigners?

For the same reason the government announces they will find new jobs for everyone just fired from some company. First of all WHY? Secondly the majority are often foreign workers.
But it does make it sound that the corrupt nanny state really cares about the morons that keep them power and for the vast unwashed unemployable majority that support them, this is a very reassuring message.
I would have loved to have been the photographer for this shoot herding the drivers to the right positions:
“Aw int! Ged bak!”
“Rigorous training”
Ah yes, you mean paying extra to get the license even if you fucked up the practical like there’s no tomorrow.
For all those crying white washing, this pic is, I’d guess, about 7-8yrs old when drivers were actually mostly Maltese. I know because half of the people in the pic have moved on ages ago. The company, as far as I’ve seen, treats everyone the same. Same training, same pay, same standards required, same discipline, same everything. Source: was bus driver 2014ish-2019ish.
