  1. If you’re over 180 cm you’re not allowed in, under 170 cm it is always ok, but between it depends on the judgement of the store clerks.

  2. There is also pinhole-cameras in some of those poles sometimes. Like this one in the 6 in 160.
I belive they have wide angle lenses, not sure.

  3. Thieves over 190 and under 160 cm are pretty much safe because it’s too confusing for the clerk to specify the length of them.

  4. I have worked at Securitas and theses are indeed for measuring the hight of a suspect, but the reason for the tube is that there is a camera “hidden” inside the tub, look at the picture and look at the number 160. Smile your on candid camera.

  5. It’s so they know how tall you are, so they can give you appropriately sized cross country skis as you escape the scene following a robbery.

  6. It’s a height measure.

If green you’re allowed in. If yellow you have to be accompanied by a green person. If red you are not allowed in.

  7. So when I shop gets robbed they’ll be able to see the height of the perpetrator since surveillance cameras will catch the enter and exist although their faces are covered we still got their height and body build

  8. It’s a convenient reference chart of how many danskjävlar one might see just by looking around the area. 160-170 range and below is OK, you’re safe. 170-180; hey, things are getting a bit crowded, aren’t they? 180 and above means alert the authorities immediately, an invasion is underway.

  9. It’s common to get flooding in Sweden. This assists in making the flood levels that are predicted on the news, to help people prepare.

  10. It’s called the headbuttsaver!

If you’re over 180cm you are in constant danger of headbutting. After WW2 they had to save on materials so many stores were built with a low ceiling. This way the store doesn’t get sued.

  11. Giants are still a major issue here in Sweden, so we keep these things around. If a Giant tries to walk past one it will get zaped by an electric shock.
