How about this?

  1. As long as there are sufficiently free seats (which seems to be the case) and his soles don’t touch the back of the chair, this is absolutely acceptable IMO.

  2. Thanks to this subreddit I have a fear of people taking pictures of my feet on trains, hotdogs and going to Olten.

  3. How about taking off shoes (only socks, clean, no smell) and putting them directly on the seats? Is that considered as a no-go?

  4. A friend was jelled at and hit with a walking stick by an old lady for doing that many years ago “Nimm t’ chnoche abe!”

  5. I hate how the seats here are facing each other, so my social anxiety is perfectly fine with this. Especially if there’s sufficient empty seats for everyone else.

  6. Hi, I work on SBB trains, this is fine. If there’s no space, I’ll ask them to take their feet down. That’s never the case in the first class though.

  7. Unless the car was full or nearly so, I don’t see anything wrong with this, as long as the shoes don’t touch the seatback.

  8. Idk why I click on nsfw links. Im now scarred for life and will never be able to take a train again. 😦

  9. Well that’s fine in my opinion. He’s using his backpack to not make the seats dirty so perfectly fine, as long as nobody wants to sit there.
