In fairness it is nearly 300g. Its not like its 80g. 300g is alot. I do agree it’s too expensive though but it doesn’t surprise me. A standard dairy milk bar in many shops is about 1.60
Are they gold or something?
I wouldn’t be surprised if this is just so they can label them as 50% off closer to Easter
The price of eggs I tells ya
€7 isn’t that bad, have you ever laid an egg?
4 euro with Tesco’s Clubcard!
Always use the price per kilo.
This is a bag of sugar, but selling at fillet steak prices.
Sure …. It’s 300g. But it’s 300g of processed sugar.
They got little chocolate chicks inside em or something?
Apologies in advance for the derailment but has there been any new chocolate products lately?. When I was growing up there were about ten in total, and in the nineties there was a new one every week.
These little fuckers are probably one of the most recent additions and they are around for ages. Like a decade or more.
Is there any new chocco?
Stop it.
Just rob them. That’s what they’re doing to you all the time anyway
Where’d you see this? A cinema inside an airport at a music festival?
Ridiculous, I seen a post for that prime drink @ 22.50€ I kid you not.
I would even be afraid to shoplift them.. judge would give me time thinking they were faberge eggs
Robbery is grand now I’d say
It’s only 5 eggs per bloke per day.
Supervalu are ridiculous i went in for a tub of nivea cream 200ml €8.70!
€6.50 in Tesco… possibly less if you have their gold card!
It’s actually a viscous cycle for the company’s one would imagine. The constant cycle of shrink product, up the price. Now what we have on show, is literally a point where the product has been shrunk again and the price raised. However, this time, its ridiculous looking and taking the piss. Surely this is going to impact sales, and ultimately revenues for share holders.
The next question is what can us consumers do, I go into Aldi/Lidl, the cheapest (or so called), everything is going up 10c on the weekly. Fair enough I thought. I think however a good chunk of this inflation is just businesses absolutely taking the piss, cause they know people will pony up the extra.
Like they blame energy costs, but the government gave a grant of 10k for bills, yet phek all signed up for it!
Inflation be hitting hard these days. But not to worry. They’re only a fiver at Tesco’s. Four if you’ve a clubcard
Does anyone actually enjoy these anyway?
I bought 5 family packs of mini eggs for €1.00 each in Tesco last week. I use them for Easter baking. Absolutely great value, I ask the teller to double check the price.
Mini bag, gigantic price gouge
Right, that’s too far, time for a revolution.
I would be fine with it if the wages went up too
£10 for 1KG on Amazon, get em while you can!
Prices are out of control atm. I was in Tesco last night to get some Orange Lucozade as I had a hankering & the 380ml was 10c cheaper than the 500ml.
Was €1.95 for the smaller and €2.05 for the larger. Mental.
Even if this is for Easter so they can say 50% off…its still going to be 3.50 and customers will be like “how the fuck were these things 7 euro” lol
Is it not nuts that every shop in the country is getting these eDisplays in? Like a bit of paper was too inefficient, we need this display and missions of extra batteries manufactured and imported.
In a climate collapse. It’s fucking nuts.
Even at a cinema that’s insane
clubcard price is only €1.50
To the streets people. They can take our homes, but they’ll never take our chocolate!
Damn, avian flu is even affecting the chocolate chickens

Smells like a recession is coming.
