  1. I wonder if we dropped him deep in the heart of the amazon would he show up outside the gate a few years from now covered in tribal tattoos and wearing animal skins.

  2. This clown is clearly going to keep turning up every day, but can we not have to post about it every day please? Sick to death of it.

  3. It’s actually funny seen his da picking him up, like a child’s parent getting a call to come collect their son after acting the maggot.

  4. The Year is 2056:

    Ireland finally defeats the Kingdom of Wessex and installs Marty Morissey III on the throne.

    Participation in RTE’s Dancing with the Stars has fully replaced jury duty as an obligation for Irish citizens.

    The HSE’s €500 billion euro budget is approved, with 94% of the Irish workforce now employed by them.

    Wilson’s Hospital School, *(sponsored by Apache Pizza)* is still haunted by Enoch Burke, who continues to show up everyday, and is considered a tourist attraction.

  5. I can imagine the conversation last night as he packed his back after the 9 o’clock news;

    “Mammy, I need €700 for school today.”

    “Ah Enoch, you could have given me a bit more notice, will they change a thousand note? Or can I do it online? Anyway, didn’t you bring this in last week?”

  6. Before the internet he’d just be the local ‘odd lad’. Can we just leave him to it and let him carry on being the local ‘odd lad’. Let the guards and the courts and mental health services deal with it. We really don’t have to entertain him so much.

  7. So it will cost him 3500 Euros per week to do this.

    Which will be 14,000 Euros per month.

    If I’m not mistaken there’s 6 months remaining in the school year so if he wanted to continue to do this it will cost him 84,000 Euros.

    I know the Burke family are probably quite wealthy due to their academic success etc but I don’t think they’re that wealthy. Are they hoping the fines will be written off by the judge at a later stage somehow perhaps?

  8. I get this is now some perverse national freakshow of a story, but I can’t be the only one thinking that this is having an effect on the students and their classes with the attention this lunatic is forcing on the school now. It was mildly amusing at the start, but the welfare of the students should be top consideration now.

  9. Ye are missing the point lads. This melt is funded from the states, near limitless christiofascist money. Up the fines and we’d be proxy importing all that money and putting it straight into the government coffers. We could build a dozen hospitals out of this debacle if we play our cards right
