The only thing this was good for, was a fertile ground for funny reactions. Xander De Rycke & WTAA got a good amount of content from it.
Funniest thing was I didn’t even have to watch the show or any of the “nominated” things to get all the jokes about it. That makes it clear how extremely predictable and stale 90% of the flemish media is. Of course they need to organize a huge circle jerk like this, it’s not like anyone else is going to give James fucking Cooke an award for anything else except “most annoying side kick of the year” (Gert probably can’t be happy he actually got a version of Samson that’s less likeable, less talented and less intelligent).
But it still was a massive hit according to the amount of viewers
People like cringe so they made an extra cringe show about it. What did the reporter expect.
