What i find most spectacular that 350 years after the dutch en english fought tooth and nail over trade, we now look back as some leftover from the past with cultural values.
In 350 years si much is changed, now being allies. No more war!
Hope that in 350 years time Russians and Ukrainians can be friends too.
Still fun how this small country managed such industrial scale production of ships that it managed to fight off the english at sea and even humiliate them at Chatham. i think our economic right wing parties and much of how business is being run is still a leftover from VOC traditions.
