I contacted PYUR to install internet and a technician will come. On the phone they told me they will need access to the “Main Distributor” to be able to do the work.

The email I got says : “Der Techniker schaltet Ihren Anschluss frei und installiert, falls nötig, eine neue Anschlussdose. Bitte ermöglichen Sie ihm den Zugang zu Ihrer Wohnung und zum Verteilerkasten im Haus. Sprechen Sie ggf. Ihre Hausverwaltung oder Ihren Vermieter an. ”
That looks like a junction box (from what I see on google). Do they have the key? Cause I don’t.
Is this it? If not exactly what should I search for? I know where the electric meter is too, but it is protected and I can’t open it (I can only read it)

Yes, they should have the key to that box. They’re just saying they need you to make sure you can access whatever room it’s in (e.g. often in the Keller behind a door that they don’t have the key to).
