Is this because we’re just an older population now and living longer? The boomers are starting to check out en masse? The baby boomers were those born from the period of the 1940s to the 1960s, when a rush of fertility occurred all over the western world

It’s our health system. People are waiting longer for life saving treatment and are waiting longer for treatment in life and death situations.
A lot of old people dying around my area lately. We had 3 in one week recently and they’re still coming.
Many of them are around the same age, maybe result of long term covid?
Hopefully they’ll have a vaccine against this soon! They might be able to knock one up in 24/48 hours I’d imagine!
It’s because the health system is absolutely fucked. My grandfather was discharged from hospital at the start of December *with* Sepsis. He very clearly had it, and if it weren’t for my parents he’d probably not be here right now.
Fuckin boggles the mind how they just discharged him while we was very clearly ill.
