  1. > The National Residential Landlord Association (NRLA) argues that owners should not be responsible if a company lets out a property and mismanages it.

“Wait, I’m expected to vet the company I’m giving control of my property to? I’m just supposed to get paid right?”

Maybe if you own a property you should make sure it’s to the absolutle basic of living standards? Maybe I dunno, visit it… once a year when you’re not on permanent holiday with your London rent money?

  2. Went with a friend on Tuesday for a new place to rent she was told the price for just the room is £1200 a month sharing with 4 other people, that one place generating £4800 a month? Fucking con.

    City Rooms in Bethnal Green.

So, she not only has to pay a fortune for a shitty room but also with three complete and utter strangers, whose responsibility is it if one of them happens to be a thug? She’s still searching for a place to rent

Gone are the days of renting a house and having your own space.
