Interestingly, most of the scenes in Season 3 mimicing the Russia were film in Budapest as well as most of interior shots mimicing Czechia too. Luckily, Krakow, or at least a park in Krakow was filmed in Prague 🙂
100% true
xD
The geography and political situation in the third season are so absurd though. It looks like creators didn’t even bother to look on the map of Europe or read anything more about politics.
It’s so awesomely bad it’s actually good, indeed.
(Also, I knew on an intellectual level that the seasons in the Middle East and in Venezuela were set in caricatures of that region made palatable for the US audience, but watching a season set in Central and Eastern Europe made this awareness real on an emotional level)
Isn’t calling John Krasinski a Polish-American bit of a stretch?
I just read that his father has polish descendants, but he (the father) was born and raised in the US.
Actually “Rudoarmějec”.
Czech language is so funny, so many words there sound unintentionally diminutively
Bywały czerwono-armiczek. That’s why I love Czech language
The only good Jack Ryans were Harrison Ford and Alec Baldwin
Červeno-armíček by bylo cool ale bohužel je to bývalý voják Rudé armády
