There was another small section of the railway that was only used for commercial purposes from Katydata and Skouriotissa mine to Karavostasi docks.
Bring it back
There is a very nice museum about the Cypriot train in Evrychou village for anyone interested to find out more!
It’s a shame it didn’t expand. Too expensive now but we can still try and reform the bus system.
Imagine if we had some train lines connecting all of Cyprus main cities. Trains and proper buss lines can really change Cyprus. We live in a small island, cars should not be our first choice, they waste so much space from our island and traffic will only get worse as we increase in population.
