The NHS shouldn’t be saved, it should be replaced. Unfortunately, it has replaced Anglicanism as the majority religion in this country, and its adherents are more rabidly devout than any member of the Church of England that I’ve met.

I’m an NHS Consultant and I’ve been in the NHS for 25 years.
Make no mistake, the NHS is over. Finished. Kaput. I’ve never seen such a state as it is in at the moment. No one wants to admit it, but that’s where we are.
20 years ago, we spent 25% of expenditure on the NHS. Now it’s more like 45%… and our state debt is over 100% of our GDP.
It’s simply unsustainable.
Personally, I will vote for any politician brave enough to tackle this and admit we need to move to a French / Swedish style co-payment system which is proven to work.
Every thread has tory shills all over it with xouple of months old accounts only shitting at nhs maybe it’s time to investigate if we don’t have our own troll farms in the UK.
NHS works it has worked for over 70 years, it works even well but it depends on all other things to work. We have increased poverty, keep houses freezing hold, make people overworked with overtime to pay the bills, we have cut social care meaning nhs can’t discharge healthy patients because they will be put in unsafe house with no support, we have cut yought centres and parents and baby groups that could spot a things when they are tiny problem.
You can’t cut everything and then cry it doesn’t work.
We have some shills say we should move to American model nut in the USA nurse gets paid $70 000 a year+ and here people complain if nurses get paid £30 000 and call them greedy. Pay nurses £50 000 and see how quickly nhs will become fully staffed and with no strikes
