  1. I remember watching documentary about this battle and Stalin banned evacuation of civilians from the city so “Soviet would fight for the city that’s still alive”. Yeah

  2. Russia has not advanced one bit as a nation since Stalin. Decades and millenniums change, same russian bullshit continues.

  3. It all comes full fucking circle. I wonder if these animal-dumb peasants in the scarves understand Stalin would have liquidated at least 6 of them…

  4. Stalingrad was a true heroic feat and deserves to be celebrated, if for no other reason than the unimaginable sacrifice by the unimaginable number of casualties who made it possible.

Stalin was a genocidal lunatic whose diplomatic incompetency directly led to all those tens upon tens upon tens of millions of people having to die in the first place. His continuing rehabilitation in Russia is as inexcusable as it is inexplicable.

  5. Its somewhat weird how the battle of stalingrad is just a picture of stalin. Stalin didnt do shit in the battle of stalingrad. Even weirder how it is even displayed.

  6. Oh, celebrating stall-man who almost lost to Germany. What will happen if Ukrainians take and win Stalingrad. Or what happens if Russia loses their “special military operation”?

  7. Putin finally coming home to his KGB roots and dragging Russia down to the past with him. the error of communism.

  8. I understand why people don’t like Russia or the USSR, but the Soviet Union was the most important country, and sacrificed the most to taking down NAZI Germany. And millions of mainly Russians and Ukrainians were sacrificed in the Battle of Stalingrad, as a major turning point to defeat the NAZIs.

Everyone here pointing out the brutality of Stalin’s regime is right, but that does not lessen the importance of the USSR in WWII, and it is right to remember and commemorate the victory for all of humanity at the battle of Stalingrad.

  9. That’s utter insanity.

Let‘s put up a giant Hitler poster in Germany, that’s about the same level…

  10. Yeah well, in the world we’re living in it’s cool to wear t shirts with the hammer and sickle, when it should be as shunned as the swastika.
So this isn’t that shocking, I guess.

  11. The man who needed Molotov to tell him to grow some balls and do something, when the fronts were collapsing in ’41…..

  12. Russia is like that drunk dude in the corner of the bar that won’t let anyone forget they were the star of their high school sports team 5 decades ago
