
Today marked the 8th anniversary of my wife’s and I’s first date. Celebrated by recreating some cataplana we had visiting your beautiful country last summer. She got me a cataplana for Christmas and we made some with monkfish, shrimp, potatoes, onions, green peppers , tomatoes, and some portugese seasonings. The last picture is the one we had while in Carvoeiro.

Uma vez ofereceram me uma panela de cataplana destas, mas no interior vem um aviso de que se quiser utilizar para fins culinários (sem ser decorativos), tenho de deixar em água a ferver durante algum tempo. E eu fds?? Como é que eu ponho uma coisa deste tamanho em água a ferver?
