Too many Visual artists received the bursary. 30% or so. With 25% going to musicians. Not sure how they thought giving Visual Artist’s the bulk of representation was the correct move.
Do we suddenly have a budget surplus???
My friend is getting one. He works his ass off for his art along with holding down a full-time job and many other seasonal jobs. This is allowing him to go part-time at his job and commit to his art for the other few days a week. Absolutely life changing for him.
