That sucks. The US tech giants already control far too much of the world. I’d hate to see them making serious inroads on payment systems. They’re a problem as it is, but that would be seriously dangerous.

The most ridiculous thing about all of this paying methods it’s that you can actually now also pay with a Garmin watch(???), but not with Apple Pay
Its all a joke. In due time, all store have to adopt to some sort of crypto..
Thats great. all though i’m on sbanken, they’ve had it a long time. i do wanna try out getting samsung pay as well to be a supported method.
Talk about bad timing. Literally A WEEK before they shut down vipps i opened a DNB account for Google Pay. Luckily my SpareBank one is still active and I may just close DNB.

Can you do use google pay with DNB? I forgot my card yesterday and had to leave the shopping at Spar, drive home and get the card and drove back to pay with 2 screaming hungry kids in the car 😅

Coming from a very third world country, it feels very weird to be in what’s considered by a lot of people, a “first world country leading in technology” and seeing that there are basic things that don’t work here 😅 just saying, still love Norway though
