Not what we meant when we said tax the fat cats haha I’ll get my coat
Don’t cats need a certain amount of nutrition a day, which you’d assume the packs were sized to provide?
It’s one thing to shave a few grams off a dairy milk, quite another your cat‘s entire diet.
I’d heard they were going to do this, and saw these in the local Tesco last night. The packaging has changed so you can tell easily at least. Tesco own brand is still 100g and the cats loved it, so whiskas just lost a customer.
All this is going to do is make hungry cats. No one is going to open a 2nd pouch when 1 was always enough.
Vote with your wallets folks.
Just noticed this today and I am furious with them, thinking of switching to raw. Already switched to raw with the dog and saving so much money (he used to have James Wellbeloved dry and wet food).
The cats had a pouch each and they have GoCat biscuits which are much more affordable than Whiskas.

For years they said our cats needed 100g.
Now, our cats will look up at us still hungry.
