Coffee consumption per capita

  1. Flawed statistic. They’re using coffee sales to project consumption, so of course we’re number one with shopping tourism

  2. That’s quite surprising as I didn’t find any good coffee here since I arrived 2months ago, can you recommend somewhere good to see what they are talking about

  3. It’s the cross border workers, like pretty much all per capita indicators of Luxembourg. People drink a lot more coffe on weekdays during office hours, so of course our numbers are inflated.

  4. I live on the German boarder and can say, people travel here for coffee. It is shocking! When I had a baby nurse living with us, she flew home to Czechia for the weekend and filled her suitcase with coffee. It was the brand her father liked and about 1/3 the cost.

  5. Hang on…kg…per capita? So what…we drink 25 KILOGRAMS per year?
I use a grain machine at home and those 1kg bags are heavy (and expensive) and to think that we each drink 25 of those per year ON AVERAGE, meaning there are some who drink even more…if I was a psychologist I’d suggest we have some addiction problem!
