No wonder when you say “ech drénken kaafi” for having breakfast lol
Flawed statistic. They’re using coffee sales to project consumption, so of course we’re number one with shopping tourism
That’s quite surprising as I didn’t find any good coffee here since I arrived 2months ago, can you recommend somewhere good to see what they are talking about
It’s the cross border workers, like pretty much all per capita indicators of Luxembourg. People drink a lot more coffe on weekdays during office hours, so of course our numbers are inflated.
Yeah, germans have quite high taxes on coffee, so they buy it in Luxembourg.
Well, that, and me, I guess. Sorry.
Any per capita statistics are flawed where it concerns countries with a small population.
This is so wrong.. There is no fck way Icelanders drink more coffee than Bosnians.. No way…
What about energy drinks? Luxembourg has the cheapest energy drinks worldwide.
I live on the German boarder and can say, people travel here for coffee. It is shocking! When I had a baby nurse living with us, she flew home to Czechia for the weekend and filled her suitcase with coffee. It was the brand her father liked and about 1/3 the cost.
hei un der grenz sinn all daach vill deitscher fir kaffi an tubak ze kaafen. an fir ze tanken.
What are good coffee roasteries here in Luxembourg?
Where do you buy fresh coffee?
This is in kg. Italians only drink espresso. Let that sink in.
Hang on…kg…per capita? So what…we drink 25 KILOGRAMS per year?
I use a grain machine at home and those 1kg bags are heavy (and expensive) and to think that we each drink 25 of those per year ON AVERAGE, meaning there are some who drink even more…if I was a psychologist I’d suggest we have some addiction problem!
Woah, can’t believe Turks drink more than Moldovans.
