Booooooo
If you invert the first graph, you’ll get Netflix Market Capitalization
and is going back up with the the 10’s of streaming services each demanding a separate subscription.
And how much did vpn usage go up? Just asking since switzerland has quite relaxed laws
Woke crap is so bad nobody wants it even if it’s free.
Doesn’t take games into account, which I imagine is the biggest piracy market at the moment, especially since it’s simply more convenient to use Netflix/Spotify or other streaming services for most people.
The music industry were smart. They didn’t decide to have a different provider for each record label. Streaming music is super easy, you’d be stupid to pirate it.
TV/film streaming was brilliant until it spread out into several different providers. It basically killed cable tv to then become it once again but online. If they keep it up it will almost be the same effort to stream than it is to pirate.
Games (not included) are a distaster. They were easy to get with steam and then each publisher shat it’s pants by deciding to have their own service. Now it’s easier to pirate games, and normally get a better experience.
Okay, I might be an outsider in this, but who pays for music? Like…. It’s all on YouTube…. HOW do you play for music? (short of buing CDs)
