I just don’t get why they would need that land, which is actually really small for a “naval base”. I mean they have already enough land. How is that even efficient to have all these fragmented military areas all over the northern part of the island, and now add one more. I mean wouldn’t it better have like three, four larger military compounds?
My suspicion actually is that this plot is intended for a holiday location for the highest ranks in the military, but they can’t say that in public yet.
