“Authenticate” means PIN1, always.
“Sign” means PIN2.
PIN1 – you.
PIN2 – your signature.
Logging in is always pin 1. Pin 2 is for legally binding activities and signing transactions . That’s how scammers work, they make a site that asks pin2 to sign in.
