Btw my great grandfather fought with him from the very beginning until the very end in the Estonian War of Independence. Kuperjanov was mortally wounded in the Battle of Paju while my great grandfather recovered.

Estonian highest military medal for personal bravery has never been awarded, even not to Kuperjanov.
