Will they actually be allowed to fight fires, or will it be like the border control where they can’t actually legally do the job?
It’ll be the Navy more than Army being that every sailor is trained in firefighting using very similar gear. Can’t call 999 in the middle of the ocean. As it was last time.
How many people are in the British Army? They seem to be doing every job in the country at the moment.
army to drive the ambulances, army to fight the fires, army to quell the protests,
army to teach in schools maybe? maybe we can get army in the offices to stop the WFH. maybe we all just be army now.
While I know the soldiers in the army can’t exactly choose their lot I can’t imagine all of them are happy at being scabs.
