This will be a great place for housing refugees and asylum seekers, sound foresight.
Jesus Christ. The comment section on that article is something else. Are people like that ever able to get any joy in anything in their lives
Won’t be a real cycle line till someone parks a car in it.
That’s pretty cool. Is that being built near the national aquatic centre?
Didn’t we just recently see a load of residential housing denied permission … ***During a housing crisis?***
About time with the cycling talent in this county’s long overdue
Great it’s multi purpose
Fucking Nimb-
Oh. Sorry, I’m just… not used to this feeling.
Ok. I can see the “feel good” factor kicking in for people who like all this stuff and think it’s free. We have huge national debt, among the highest in the world per capita, and these sort of projects are a mixture of vanity and misdirection.
There are no costs mentioned for this. It’s highly unlikely to come in on budget. We really need to realise that with one quarter of tax revenue from multinationals we are one major crisis from the IMF. We can imagine all we want about what the centre will generate but we cannot afford these things.
Class, a proper Irish Nascar track
National Sports Campus really needs better transport links such as the Luas or the mythical Metro especially if they build the National Cricket Stadium next.
And they will still find a way up on to the pedestrian footpaths
