Hi guys! I had recently moved to Odense and found this in my room. What is that? I looks like a power outlet with a UTP cable stuck in it.

  1. Once upon a time, phones required wires, which would be plugged into the wall (The wire, not the phone). The wall plug looks like the top connector.

    The bottom connector can be used to plug in a modem or DSL connection. A modem is an ancient device used to convert sound into data and a DSL connection is the digital version of that. Basically really slow WiFi in a wire.
