Yep. It’s free money , it used to happen to toll taxes. You would get a fine even if you paid. But you couldn’t just send payment proof you had to actually sue them.
You tried to pay yesterday morning for 24h? And you got the ticket this morning?
It is free on weekend, but from 23:59 it is not anymore.
So maybe there’s a bug in the app, instead of calculating the hours after 00 it just says “free”
You should have tried to pay this morning.

Have you read the sign where you parked? I guess not..
Try “am parcat” app. Way better and you would not have had these problems.
