So apparently according to r/polska it’s hate speech if you express a different view on something. i used to think “Liberal” means they allowed freedom but they’re the same as conservatists..

    Taking back trans people, well, I don’t get them either, but I do get that it’s scientifically proven that brain has gender/sex, which can happen to be different than the body one. Just like with sex organs- sometimes they don’t match the rest. Let’s respect that.

  21. This already went viral, not only in Poland but at least in Europe. If You state a solid facts, You will be called a racist, homophobe and more, banned wherever mods can ban or scolded if You go for arguments with people who represents these societies. Many things are possible these times in surgery and hormonal therapy but it still can’t change gender completly. I really prefer men love men or women love women without trying to prove that nature is stupid and doesn’t know anything. Whatever man who wants to change gender will do with his crouch, he still can’t achieve real womb, and still can’t bear a child. Maybe in distant future, but I am not sure it will be ever possible without complete reborn.

    I don’t remember correctly, but if it was posted on r/polska_wpz, then later it was reposted on the “polska” subreddit. And IIRC, some comments there saw this issue, but they didn’t want to do anything about this, and another comments were like “so where’s the problem? we can’t sh*t on religion and believers?”

  29. Most people here seem to be missing the point. It’s not at all (in this case) about women with male genitalia but about men with female genitalia. This is a topic that is non-existent in Polish media or general social awareness, but the western world may choose the wording “people with vaginas” instead of women to be inclusionary of trans men who may be affected by the discussed topic (menstrual care, contraception, pregnancy etc.).

    Also, I saw one of the mod’s comments and he wrote that mods can ban people on this principle:

    “I don’t know if this user breaks the rules, I don’t know if he is trolling, but I don’t like it, but besides, if he didn’t break the rules now, he’ll probably break them in the future.”

    “There is no discussion ban, but there is a ban on expressing certain views, a ban on expressing yourself in an offensive way to users, etc. Maybe even “ban” is the wrong word? You can write what you want, but some content will be removed and you will be banned.”

    In short, mods can interpret anything in different ways if they want to, so they will give you a ban for whatever they think.
