    I theory it’s a secret recipe but several recipes are around that try to mimic it, search for “molho portugalia” or sometimes just “molho à cervejeiro” (beermaster sauce?)

    A Portugália tem restaurantes em quase todo o lado. Até na China há pelo menos um mas não há nenhum a norte de Castelo Branco. Isso explica alguns comentários.

  9. This is a steak at Portugalia restaurants. The sauce is a secret but you can fry the steak in a pan, take it out when it’s cooked to your taste, then add cream and mustard in the same pan, mix it and serve over the steak

  10. It’s pretty simple you slice some garlic add to the stakes, let it cook with margarine not butter cuz the butter will burn… Then remove the stakes, add some milk to the pan, “cafe de cevada” wich if I’m not mistaken it’s like grinded coffee powder, a tea spoon.
    And some mustard to taste, flour mixed it. Let the sauce thicken and there you have it

  11. The sauce is optional my friend but if you want it that bad:
    – half a kg of butter
    – dark pepper (use and abuse it)
    – white wine (just a glass)
    – cooking cream
    – garlic as much as you want.

    Pinch of olive oil, LOW HEAT, add the CHOPPED garlic, cook it nice and blonde, ADD THE REST OF THE BUTTER, add the wine, drink the remaining wine and add pepper. When it’s boiling good add the cream. When the sauce is done use a blender to mix it WELL. You can also add mustard if you like, I’d use a spoonful of Dijon
