Where can I get rid of these? Can I convert them to current zlotych?

  1. Ur only option is to sell them online as a novelty/for a collector

  2. U can get rid of them by throwing them into trash can.

  3. Just throw it away. It’s just ~~0.0032~~ 0,032 PLN and you can’t exchange it.

  4. These are not in use for …. Quite some time , my best bet to get any value would be sell them to collector or something?

  5. You can frame them and put them up on your wall as a reminder of the horrors of runaway inflation.

  6. Give to your/neighbour child. He/she will be happy and will probably start a collection reliving you from toy-buing duty.

  7. Nominally they are worth less than paper they were printed on. If I were you I’d rather have them with me as a souvenir or sell them to collectors

  8. These aren’t in the best shape, collectors usually only go for pristine bank notes. I think these are only worth a couple cents. I would just keep them

  9. It’s the old złoty from before 1995 denomination (1000 (edit: 10000) PLZ = 1 PLN). Up until 2010 you could’ve exchanged them (minimum of 100 PLZ). Now it’s just a souvenir (but you may be able to sell them to collectors, dunno)

  10. They could be considered collector’s items, but they’re so common that I doubt they’d be worth much… on the order of maybe $1-$2 on Ebay or something. The 100 zloty banknotes were replaced by 1 current grosz coins (0.01 PLN). 1 American cent is currently worth around 4 grosze. What you see there has a monetary value of $0.01 at best.

[This website is willing to pay $0.18 for them which isn’t a bad deal I guess.](https://www.leftovercurrency.com/exchange/polish-zloty/old-polish-zloty-banknotes/100-old-polish-zloty-banknote-ludwik-warynski/)

  11. Worth 0,ü cents…

If someone gives you one cent you’re in the plus.

  12. Yeah, no. Those haven’t been in circulation since the 90’s.

  13. If you are interested in trading for foreign currency, I would like to buy them for a valid 100NOK note.

  14. 1. the deadline for converting PLZ to PLN ended December 31th, 2010
    2. even in 2010, 100PLZ = 0.01PLN, the total worth of these 4 banknotes is 0.031PLN

    The rate is 10000PLZ=1PLN

  15. You can give them to me, I collect old money and don’t have any of these yet

  16. You can convert your voltage zloty to current zloty with transimpedance bank.
    Sorry, I had to.

  17. Keep em they will raise in value in like 20-30years

  18. Best exchange rate is when you convert these to ash by applying fire…

  19. Useless paper. I guess you can laminate a couple ones that are in nice condition and keep them as souvenirs or collectibles.

  20. When I was a kid we used to use a magnifying glass to burn designs and generally deface these in the sun. In 1993 it was like squashing pennys on the train tracks

  21. That 10 zł looks ok, I bet you could sell all of those online for 3-10$

  22. If you really don’t want to collect these, you can sell them on internet, and in that way “convert” them into money. But honestly, you should give them to colector

  23. You can’t convert them, although you can keep then as collectives or sell them somewhere

  24. 310 PLZ = 0,031 PLN so these are virtually worthless even if you could convert them. It’s not possilble since 2011. You can keep them safe, give them to someone, or find another use (instead of a bookmark, toilet paper etc.). You can try to sell them online, maybe you’ll find buyers. Or maybe try to use them in a shop 😉

  25. Panie, te banknote są więcej warte jako zabytek niż jako waluta.

  26. 100 takich złotych to jest współczesny 1 grosz

  27. in 1995 they could be exchanged for around 0.42 grosze. (the exchange rate was 1000:1) Today they are just a novelty
