UK placed in third tier in global index of free expression

  1. Declining economy and civil rights. Higher crime, collapsing healthcare. Draconian bills against internet freedoms and protesting. Isolated from prosperous neighbors. Truss economics as the ultimate crony capitalism. Wages unchanged to inflation for a decade. A billionaire smugly leading our recession into any adequate living standards.

Not only is the train late and the rubbish isn’t collected, nobody is able to afford a new car anymore to escape such problems!

  2. Both sides of the political spectrum at the high level and grass roots looking to ‘cancel’ each other isn’t a good thing to add to the mix either 🙁

  3. Whilst this wouldn’t surprise me, has anyone heard of this organisation before? Feels like they’ve just sort of established themselves and then thrown out their own index. I think they’re even based in the UK.

  4. The government is intent on cracking down on protests and strikes, all to avoid valid criticism and to continue to shape the country in a manner that works for them, while continuing to erode human rights. Imagine saying that about the UK a decade ago. You would think a statement like that would apply to a third world country run by a lifelong dictator. The Tories like to keep up a veneer of democracy but are intent on removing as many of our rights as possible.

  5. The average Briton opposes the right to strike, supports restrictions on internet usage, and is anti-free speech. Only yesterday there were comments on this and other subs gloating about three Liverpool supporters being arrested for calling Chelsea fans ‘rentboys’.

  6. lol, have a look at the “New” feed of this sub right now and you would think we have become Nazi Germany
