I checked the settings and the “deel fiets” option is disabled.
Just report the bug, their support desk was really helpful and friendly when I contacted them about an issue.

I once tried to use the app to plan a trip. Wasn’t helpful in the slightest, so I used google maps instead

They included excersice. Walk 2 minutes more and bike back. It’s not much, but do it a lot and it would get my fat ass in shape.
Lol @ the people who would rather dirty delete than go “oh my bad didn’t see”
De lijn just really wants you to bike there
Posting bugs on r/belgium won’t resolve your issue. Just contact support so their developer team is aware of the bug (which you did). Hopefully your issue gets fixed quickly.
To be fair, (apart from the routeplanner) the app is pretty decent and gives very accurate info if you just look for when your bus is going to arrive
Whats more crazy is, the first 2 takes the same bus… why would you want to take the other option…
It can’t be worse than TEC app
The great thing is that De Lijn actually has decent IT, so you can just use another app like google maps instead.
Or if you really want to, you could write your own app. Just register as a developer and you’ll get access to the resources you need.
I always use the Google Maps trip planner, way better
Welkom in Belgium my friend, where public transportation sucks!
Last week I’ve also noticed that the options aren’t even in chronological order.
If you find the app annoying you haven’t used the board equipment for navigatio, display, etc as a driver jet lol
I know the app suck for planning. But I’m very happy that we have an app after traveling in Poland when you often can pay with cash only and need to trust google maps you are on the right bus.
It’s because the app know the driver will never show up 🤣
You should use the Moovit app, is a much better app to plan bus and train trips.
Use Google maps for traject planning, and ‘buzz’ for realtime.
I always use google maps and double check on the de lijn app
