I know this guy and the guys that killed him crazy shit. They kidnapped him from the street behind my house
And this is exactly why vigilante justice sucks. No matter how angry someone’s actions make you, remember this case and the fact that you probably don’t know everything.
How many times do people need to learn this lesson?
Stabbed 90 times? Wtf? even if he was the right guy, being mentally and physically capable of stabbing someone that many times is downright insane

Insanity, all that effort while the real rapist is out there in full health. That’s gonna be one distressing fact to digest throughout the (hopefully) 30 years they spend locked up.
It’s always depressing how well upvoted comments about vigilante ‘justice’ are on reddit. Lots of people support this kind of shit until someone innocent is harmed.
Why it’s so important to drill in the importance of innocent until proven guilty. Mere accusations shouldn’t be enough to ruin someone’s life, and especially not kill someone.
This is why all trials and such should be anonymous, except for high profile people.
I would really like to know what there rational behind this guy being the rapist was. Did they just pick up some random guy off the street who fit the description or did the girl point him out to them and then it was later found out he wasn’t the guy?

A solid reason arrests shouldn’t be public, convictions should be instead.
As much as I don’t like the laws that allow dual citizens to be stripped of their UK citizenship there it could be used to good effect here. Some of the names suggest non-UK citizens in which case deport them, some of them might be dual citizens in which case strip them of their UK citizenship and deport.
