Longford city has really cleaned up since I was there last.
Isn’t it crazy how, in one part of the world, humans were building pyramids, temples, aquaducts, antikythera devices etc thousands of years ago.
But in another part of the world thousands of years later, the same species with the same cognitive capability is still living in huts and running around in their underpants throwing spears at toads.
Weird
There they are now, the lads
It’s not that advanced
Love it
Fair play to them for utilising the usual bonfire spot to make housing.
Small, or far away?
I see they’ve started wearing loincloths as well
You sure that’s not the Aviva Stadium ?
🤣
Fucking false news !!!
Everyone knows that’s Carrick on Shannon
They say that the locals attack anyone who comes close to Longford with bows and arrows.
Man Centre Parks is looking good
Ah Jaysus, ‘Tis himself.
What am I actually looking at?
Flancare Park, many a game of football has been lost on that pitch.
Lmao this got me
They are very advanced up there now. That’s the EU for you.
Thought that was Port Laois for a moment, until I realised there are not 2 roundabouts per square meter in the picture.
How did you get a shot of Longford from the future?
Haha fuck yeah, that actually made me lose my shit laughing
I could say that some parts of Dublin look worse
What a sprawl
I had no idea civilisation there was so advanced. Good for them. I’m sure they’ll discover fire any day now.
The N55 to Cavan clearly visible there in the top right corner, albeit looking much modernized following investment.
Bitta privacy lads
What’s the point of the post?
Iv heard they’ve stopped throwing feaces at those scary automobiles that pass through. A sign of the times. Well done them.
Oh la de da. Will you look at them Longford boys with their fancy neatly thatched shelters and as many as 7 or 8 people in their town center. The lads in Tipperary Town will be mad jealous.
More like Leitrim
Ants inside a fortress of shredded wheat?
Every time I drive through Longford I think why not Shortopel?
They’re big Weetabix, are they ye Aldi ones?
they have kinda got roofs now
Well lä-dē-ˈdä, some people are doing well for themselves
Maybe in a 100 years
Thought it was Roscommon for a bit
They will never go hungry with those massive shredded wheat.
Looks a bit yoo peaceful. Should atleast 5 different fights going on
