Hello I recently came upon these red plastic ovals with white lettering on them. From some limited research I believe they’re German but can’t find any pictures of them to confirm. One side of the coin says deposit pfand with some type of symbol and the other has a 1.-€ on it. Any help to identify these coins would be welcomed!!!

This Reddit won’t allow me to post pictures but I’m unsure of where else to post this
They’re tokens, probably from something like a Christmas market. You buy a drink in a mug or glass with a deposit included in the price, and are issued with a token; if you return the mug or glass and the token, you get your deposit back.
A picture could potentially proof helpful.
With just the description my best guess would be “Pfandmarken”.
Sometimes you go buy a drink on a fair/street vendor/festival/etc in glasses, or cups, or other reusable containers. You pay a euro deposit, which you get back on return of said container.
If these are unspecific enough to be bought elsewhere, you could in theory buy a truckload of these and return them, to get deposits you never deposited…
In that case, you’ll get a Pfandmarke with your drink, and you’ll have to return that one, together with the glass.
