Please donate to the victims of the recent Turkey-Syria earthquakes. Thousands have been left homeless, many having lost their loved ones and some still under debris. For anyone willing to donate, any amount will be helpful for those suffering especially due to currency exchange rates. Please donate at https://ahbap.org/disasters-turkey . Ahbap is the most reputable private charity that is now the most used organization for earthquake funds. If you cannot donate, please spread the word so that other people can. The funds are being used for food, shelter and various supplies for those who are displaced. Anyone who’s able to, PLEASE donate
There is a possessive suffix at the end of the word mother. İt is a common usage of the word by mothers when addressing their kids. Which means the card is most likely written by a mother for celebrating their child’s birthday. I think it somehow makes the photo even more saddening.
My heart hurts
This is genuinely the saddest post I’ve seen about the earthquake. Just imagining how many people were happily going on with their lives until disaster struck is bizarre. It feels unreal. One day, you’re celebrating your mother’s birthday, an amazing and special day.
Later that night, everyone and everything is gone with a 30 second disaster, bringing an end to it all. its scary
