I’ve only been in Ireland for three years having moved here from England. I don’t understand the big thing about Garth Brooks here. He’s a has been / never was. Why is he so beloved here? Why did Virgin media and RTE devote so much airtime to an artist doing a concert? I don’t think that ITV and the BBC would do endless features about someone performing at the O2 or the Echo Arena . It’s weird.
Eddie Hearn could sing “I’ve got friends in low places” as the warm up.
