NHS ‘under threat’ from ‘covert privatisation’, says Stephen Fry | Evening Standard

  1. Whether what he’s suggesting is true or not, the NHS is fucked and I’ve come up with a solution. No one has found any major flaws in it so far and minor ones have had good suggestions on how to tweak it.

Shame we don’t have a Labour leader who’d willingly take them on.

  2. I thought this was common knowledge? Is this not common knowledge? I’m not sure when “covert” entered into it though.

  3. Today I had an appointment with my GP only to find out it had been outsourced to a third party. There goes your local GP

  4. The NHS is already highly privatised. That’s not the issue, it’s the fact that A. The government aren’t using companies with proven track records, they’re setting their doners and mates up in position of guaranted money despite performance and B. Are point blank refusing to put any kind of regulation in place to force these companies to do their jobs in in turn these companies can do what ever they want, like charge extortionate prices for their services to the tax payer.

  5. I had to wait 6 months to get a mental health specialist phone call diagnosis. The wait times are insane, it’s great when you can afford to pay to go private but that wasn’t an option for me. Equality is going down the crapper.

  6. >The former QI host was backing a protest by campaign group We Own It who have criticised the use of private healthcare companies in the NHS.

The subtitle alone shows the title out

  7. Lol, i deliver Medical equipment that can only be bouhht from very specific companies that have contracts with the NHS…

One of the lab technicians made me guesse how much a 6 vial holder (similar to the wooden ones we got at school only in metal) costs the NHS due to this lucrative contract that the americunts have (probably due to the epsterin island videos our politicians have hanging over their heads) with our government…

I knew it was alot so i went wild, i said £250 (bearing in mind you cant get the same thing online for about £12) she told me its £1,600

They are deliberately sucking evey penny out through these contracts so that the NHS is crippled and cannot function…

Untill we realise that a bunch of pedos have hijacked our country, making us pay interest to a bank that lends us our own money (mostly fictitious), when the same job could easily be done by a computer program without the need to charge us a penny for banking services.

Untill we realise, that these legacy nepotists, who all go to the same secret handshake clubs and divy out the tax money between themselves and their friends who went to the same privates schools that cost tens of thousands every year that only they can afford, pricing out the normal working man.

Untill we realise that we are slaves to their laws, that they created to protected themselves from retribution, while perpetually bombarding us the obscene lifestyles of the rich and famous, creating the facade that somehow you can make it, on a un-ending carrot chasing treadmill.

Untill we realise that… they will live in saftey, eating from our hard work and living off of our suffering, keeping us in constant debt, while making us compete for the scraps that fall from their fat fingers

Cumts the lot of them, one day the Celts and the English will return and restore order and justice removing the parasites, in the exact same way these people established themselves originally, through the blood of brave men…

Stop paying tax to these maggots

  8. This has always been known. The Tories have always wanted to privatise it (not convinced Labour would do different, sad to say). Their method of running it into the ground, then raising up their arms and saying “this isn’t working, folks!” is right on course.
