  1. Thank you Komşu❤️
We would volunteer to help Greece in any disaster. Erdogan can’t change that fact.
    Greetings from Edirne(Adrianopolis).

  2. Turkish people will see that we don’t pose a threat to them as Erdogan’s propaganda wants to show. Same with Turkey people.

Fuck corrupted politicians, help the people.

  3. In those kinds of massive disasters we are all human beings and as every intelligent specie does, we help each other so we can survive another day.

  4. if only the entire nation of turkey could understand that 99% of us don’t want to invade them to retake lands or do anything other than what the int law allows us to do

  5. We are not helping Turkey or Erdogan now. We are helping (Turkish) people that are in need and I hope we could do 10x of this, because right now every single minute counts

  6. I think it’s rarely the citizens of a country who are your enemy. It’s the governments that are the problem.

  7. Tbh both countries have been exceptional examples, as far as helpful neighbors go, during natural disasters like earthquakes and wildfires.

  8. There are babies and helpless souls under the rubble. One must be a special kind of evil shit to deny them help. Of course Greece helped.

  9. It’s not politics, it’s human lives.

We don’t hate turkish people, we hate politicians that try to cultivate a cloud of terror and propaganda.

  10. Turkey and Greece has an earthquake diplomacy for years after the Istanbul earthquake in 1999. That year was also shitty about the relations between them but Greece sent the first help to help the people. Not even a month later, an earthquake hit the Athens and Turkey did the same. People even called the embassy of Greece to ask about what they can do to help.

One person called to say “i can donate one of my kidneys to any greek in need.”

You can’t make these nations to hate each other.

  11. Turkey has helped Greece in natural disasters before, Greek people have no problem with Turkish people but we definitely don’t like Erdogan. Our thoughts and condolences to everyone affected.

  12. I want to tell you, Turkish state or government’s speeches doesn’t represent all Turks! At least 40 million people didn’t ever vote for him at all! Understand that! Not 80 million of Turkey is full of hatred against Greece. None of my friends are happy about this tensed climate what had been going on. Please be rational.

  13. Greece knows very well the damage earthquakes do… Each year , most of the time we get many small 4-5 level in size, but then we get bigger ones like Turkey and people die.

Greece is mostly sea so many times it hit there and people don’t suffer that much

  14. Turkey =/= Erdogan

Our neighbors aren’t hostile against Greece, their government is. Most people especially in large cities in Turkey would absolutely welcome a Greek.

  15. I am also from Athens and wish that no life is wasted from my Turkish brothers and sisters…may you all be safe, hope this nightmare finished soon!

  16. Of course we’ll help!

Its horrible seeing all these lives being lost and the rest of the people suffer.

Here’s to hopping for the day where shitty politics are a thing of the past.

  17. Thanks to media propaganda its easy to misunderstand the true relationship between the people of Greece and Turkey.

They do NOT hate or even dislike one another except some fanatics ( mostly old people or people who love the army and think they will play Call of Duty real life in case of a war).

However both Erdowan and Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis and their owned media spread fear all the time, in order to promote their policies and most importantly, justify military budgets. It also serves them both right now because both countries are near election period and they benefit from focusing on a possible ” invasion” rather than discuss the countrie’s actual problems which they do not resolve

  18. Tectonic plates have no borders. Hostile people are usually the ones who will never fight. Poor people like the thousands that killed and hurt, go to war under orders. They dont want to. Only the goverments play power games on our expense.

  19. Things like that are easily forgotten. Just wait 4-5 months and Turkey will begin trying to invade again. That earthquake diplomacy game is just an other way for politicians from both sides to play friends. Back in 1999 both countries where struck by an earthquake and both countries send aid to eachother. Guess what. After a couple of months Turkey was trying to invade Greek Islands again. History repeats itself. That being said of course I’m supporting the decision to send humanitarian aid and let’s hope the donation money doesn’t go to your government but directly to the people who got hit. Good day.

  20. Her şey teşekkür ederiz komşu. sizleri seviyoruz.🇹🇷
