Zelensky in first UK visit since invasion of Ukraine

  1. Just like how Churchill spoke to Congress in the USA back in the 40’s.

The optics of this can only boost Ukraine support here and abroad.

Today, I learned he’ll be the first foreign leader to speak to the House of Commons directly.

    That’s a pretty huge milestone.

  2. Ukraine deserves every bit of support we’ve given them, and every bit we can give them.

Zelenskyy isn’t a saint. He’s not perfect. But he’s the man for the moment and it’s difficult to imagine who could have played Ukraine’s cards better.

Welcome to Britain, mate. I hope it’s not the last time we see you and I hope the next time is under happier circumstances.

  3. Gonna be quite traumatic for the tories to see what a real leader looks like up close.

Same for Zelensky to have to look at a bunch of self serving inbred cunts.

  4. Sunak has said the UK wants a Ukrainian victory this summer.

Well if that is the case, then need to supply them with what they want. Including planes and enforcing a no fly zone.

It won’t happen though. Just words to gain support from a politician

  5. Can they get him to go to johnsons constituency? It’ll help remind the buffoon where he’s supposed to work.

  6. I’m super glad there a widespread supporting amongst our political classes that there is indeed a magic money tree and I expect the British people to see the money flowing as soon as the war is over.

  7. Reading through these comments it’s hilarious to think that people will call you a Russian troll if you are even remotely critical of Ukraine and it’s past. The only empathy I have are for the millions displaced by this pointless war.

  8. Please tell me he’ll put a proper shirt on for once.

I’ll be the first to say he’s an attractive man but those camoflage-print T-shirts and trouser things just make him look like he’s about to go to war or something.

  9. Today, Zelensky visited the UK to meet with the PM and address parliament. A country torn apart by fighting, with crumbling infrastructure and an economy in ruins, the UK must nonetheless have been a welcome sight as he looks to procure more weapons.
