I’ve created a new rendering of the Dublin City coat of arms for Wikipedia using a historic illustration as the basis. I’m hoping it looks more serious than the previous flat, clipart-style one (Swipe to compare the two versions).

Thats Awesome
Replace the robes with tracksuits.
Looks great! Nice work.
The Latin phrase translates to “Obedience of the citizens of the city”, what’s that all about?
Very ginnick
Lovely work, well done!
Comments are gas, picture is class 👌
Thats class man! Fair play
Obedient cum dump facilitators
Massive improvement, great job.
I’d recommend tweaking or layering traces of different thresholds to get better definition around the eyes and such. I can tell straight away the methods used to get the lines down.
The hair of the right lady in particular.
Anyway, looks cool! We have lots of this kind of artwork lacking and in that shitty clip-art style as you put it.
Very nice
Waaaaaaay better!
Great work. I like it.
I always thought there was kind of a fascist vibe about the slogan “the obedience of the citizens is the happiness of the city”.
Cool!
Gorgeous! Much better!
I’ve never seen a coat of arms for a city where the city appears to be burning down in it.
Very cool
They have mickies for feet in the second one.
We really should change it to ” **Beart do Réir ár mBriathar** ” or ” Action to Match Our Words “. Much cooler.
I presume it Latin written on the bottom
Am I the only one who sees the penis feet on the clip art version?
Why do their feet look like dicks in the old version?
