I just wanted to post this to thank all peoples of Europe as a Turk.

Me and my wife were on vacation in Paris when earthquake struck. Upon leaving Paris(Yesterday), we saw our French friends taking a flight to Turkey to help us. And I know that other nations of Europe have ran to our help as well.

I know we have our differences, and fought bloody wars with each other all through out the history. But we have a common history, comradery so to speak!

So I all of you have my and my people’s deepest and most sincere thanks! Thank you for beeing there when we need it the most!

I will always be friend and an ally to peoples of Europe. We won’t forget this act of kindess!

P.S. I have never seen more polite, helpful and kind people than French! Our vacation was a blast! I also wanted to thank you for that.

    And, much more important, I hope, if you had family members near the quake that they are all fine.

  3. It must have been a shock watching all of this on the news, while being so far away. I hope your family and friends back home are safe.

  7. Help coming from Romania as well. It’s awful what happened there. We had a similar one in 1977. Terrible stuff. Our thoughts are with you.
