  1. People are being reasonable (not racist) when they say their community does not have the infrastructure (housing, GPS, school & transport) to accomadate 100s of extra people.

  2. Navan native. Lots of problems in the country and in the town but these people are trying to use people’s anger at social issues for their racist goals. One school in Navan is full. I changed GP in the last year had no issues. Houses for rent and for sale. Prices are high but that’s a different issue

  3. Lol navan has a pretty high crime and is a bit of a kip anyway. Lots of nice places around it though. Maybe they could get together and fix all the issues with the town rather than blame 100 refugees with nowhere else to go

  4. Say what you want about these protests but it’s made me realise we really don’t push politicians enough for direct responses to serious matters.

We even put up and joke about the fact that they can’t say yes or no to yes or no questions.

  5. Does Navan experience high crime rates? Tried to search for it but seemed minor. Not sure about Navan but overall I thought some towns would be happy with the population increases

  6. I’m fairness regardless of a minority of shit stirring right wing goons, for a town like Navan these are pretty ligit concerns 🤷🏽‍♂️

  7. Meath says no? I’m from Meath and I say yes. Who the fuck are these people to get to speak for me or others around me? There’s loads of immigrants in my estate and they’re wonderful neighbours. Better than the loud mouth drug dealers, on my road who are Irish and white. I’d take 10 immigrants, before I take 1 of those scumbags on my street again.

  8. It always surprises me that when I meet an Irish immigrant here in America, it eventually comes out that the male is a Trump supporter, and doesn’t like Black people. Going forward, could we please not send more of them? We’re full over here.

  9. Ah stop.

No parking spaces? These albinos coming in ere taking our spaces to park.

Using issues that have been issues for years to incite their racist agenda. But lack of parking spaces?

  10. Hey OP, just because people have concerns about too many people moving to their area doesn’t make them racist, classic Liberal name calling.
People have a right to be worried about unvetted and undocumented people moving to their area.
Same is happening all over the country, well not in the likes of Dalkey or near the homes of the people making the decisions.

  11. Bring your tricolour🤦‍♂️

You don’t get to be Irish and racist

    Ireland is not full

    Refugees always welcome

  12. Meath. Called the Royal county originally because of Tara but now because of the Brutons. FG land.

EDIT: Thanks to the hack who tried to send a care alert. Such petty cynicism and waste of resources. But then again, FG.

  13. Interesting the “bring your tricolour” thing, living in the states during the Trump presidency the US flag almost became a symbol of the Maga crew and almost lost its reverence…

  14. “bring your tri-colour” pure nationalism is cancer. Gobshites acting like wrapping yourself in a flag grants you some entitlement to treat others despicably.

  15. The twitter account for this group follows 9 accounts. Far right, non-local accounts Derek Blighe & Phillip Dwyer, etc.
