From Watson: School occupiers ask journalist to leave school. I have a hard time not finding this hilarious. Maybe the journalist should declare himself to be an occupier too, so he can stay for as long as he wants 😂😂

Ok, this is a comment trying to explain the interest behind the image I shared (which I think I’m supposed to do?): I thought the other people on this sub might consider this snippet from a news story both interesting and maybe a bit humorous. The story deals with a current topic and it raises a number of questions on who has a right to access to schools: Just students and teachers? Climate activists as well? Journalists too? Are activists authorized to tell journalists to leave the school? How does the occupation by activists affect the other actors? Are occupiers entitled to tell others to leave the occupied space?

13. Climate Change is not a laughing matter, but I’d wager that it’s just a vessel/ subculture substitute for these kids. To find like-minded folk, socialize, feel as a part of something bigger, organize events and rebel against their parents and them damn Philistines.
