I’ve never been in a bus accident, but I do recall being late for a bus and missing it. Then, 15 minutes later, I took another bus, and we drove past the bus I was supposed to be in, having been T-boned by a pickup truck near Höfði.

Bus-on-bus violence.
Not so fun fact, but most of traffic incidents with Strætó is crashes between two (or more) busses.
I’m guessing the one bus driver was distracted and tried to brake too late and skidded into the other due to the ice/snow.
Considering the tight schedule some of these buses have to follow, this is to be expected.
