After 72 hours, 5-year-old Hazal was rescued. She refused the offer of water because she was not examined.

nothing short of a miracle, may she live many years
when icy heart warms, it tears…
God damn i feel so bad
What about the parents?
Is her arm broken?
Am I the only one wondering why this poor kid had to be filmed? And then post it well on social media.
Why? Why is recording the act of rescuing people normal? What about the privacy, security and ethical implications of this? In my opinion, it would be best to refrain from filming to ensure the safety and well-being of all involved, especially children.
She has more knowledge than head of Turkish search and rescue teams.
I never experienced (and probably never will) an earthquake cause I live in a country safe from them but I just can’t imagine the horror they feel. You are being kept safe by a wooden beam or some obsticle and you have a X story building above you that is only kept up by whatever saved you. And who knows how long that can hold it.
What a beautiful child. I wish strength and courage to the survivors. My heart breaks when seeing what happened there.
This probably gave every person doing search and rescue in that area a renewed sense of hope and vigor. You could tell by the tones of their voices that THIS is the reason they do what they do. Heroes, each and every one.
Smarter and wiser than akp voters lol
There is nothing in this world more poignant than a brave child being brave…
Please donate for all the people that are suffering the outcomes of the earthquake. Like Hazal, thousands have been left homeless, many having lost their loved ones and some still under debris. For anyone willing to donate, any amount will be helpful for those suffering especially due to currency exchange rates. Please donate at https://ahbap.org/disasters-turkey .
Ahbap is the most reputable private charity that is now the most used organization for earthquake funds. If you cannot donate, please spread the word so that other people can. The funds are being used for food, shelter and various supplies for those who are displaced. Anyone who’s able to, PLEASE donate
For anyone who’s doubtful of the big organizations; Ayşe Baltacıoğlu-Brammer, a Turkish, history professor at NYU, has started a donation campaign through PayPal, Venmo and Zelle; details of which are given on her Twitter account that I linked below. She’s providing the families directly without any further steps. So far she’s collected 18000$, which is a HUGE help for many people, but there are thousands of families in crucial need. https://twitter.com/brammerayse/status/1622619103851687938?s=46&t=yj_LESwKC_NGtz0G8bM2xw
This is heartcrushing.
