Honestly, I even believe it should be a policy of modern digital democracies.
Because whatever their ideas are, be it right, left, capitalism, socialism or whatever…. The Position as an elected leader naturally demands that they inform the public of their work and reasons for it…… In an accessible and widely distributed way.
You might say, but aren’t they doing it? Well yes in a different form. But compare something like a press meeting or a debate to this. Press meeting or announcement is very brief section mainly about current happenings. Debate is a show of it’s own… People don’t turn it on and it’s usually only during elections or some major events.
This is fairly brief, 10min at max. Very specific, very direct, very informative and very personal (like a 1:1 meeting in person). It could be once a week, and cover many many topics regarding PROGRESS as well as opinion but also REASONING which makes people actually think. Because the reasoning is demanded, it’s far harder to lie and far harder to talk in “Empty” sentences which don’t actually say anything. … Like FICO’s statement about Pavel “we know exactly what his foreign policy is like báseň on the last happening blah blah blah…” No actual substance in anything he says.
