Boris Johnson slumps 13 points behind Starmer in most capable PM poll

  1. Yet Tories will likely win in a few years at the next general election.

    Electorate plebs have short memories.

  2. It really doesn’t matter. Boris has an overwhelmingly majority in the house and his cabinet are making an absolute killing. They’re not going to depose him any time soon.

  3. Meaningless statistic, the Brits still voted in two Tory MP’s at the recent local elections and gave a thumbs up to Boris.

  4. [Boris Johnson is reaching Thatcher levels of unpopularity. At her lowest point right before she was forced to resign, just 25% of the public were satisfied with Maggie’s leadership.](https://www.ipsos.com/ipsos-mori/en-uk/political-monitor-satisfaction-ratings-1988-1997) This was at the height of Poll Tax riots… Compare this to the mere 28% who are satisfied with BoJo Jojo as a leader. And The Kunts haven’t even released this year’s effort to hit Christmas #1 yet…

Not even Theresa May could sink to this level of unpopularity, and she damn near threw a general election against *Jeremy Corbyn* where she began with a 20 point lead. Imagine throwing such a massive lead against an unelectable Commie that had the media moguls against him.

God forbid what’s going to happen when we inevitably go into Lockdown #4, when Christmas is inevitably cancelled, or when the full ramifications of Brexit are realised. I think we’re just one major scandal or setback away from widespread civil unrest. And if that happens, things are gonna get *real* ugly.

The Tories have to replace Johnson, but with who? Sunak or Javid seem like the best choices out of a really poor set of key figures. IDS and JRM are pure evil, Hunt wants to fully dismantle the NHS, Gove has the moxie of a ballsack, and Patel is probably the most likely candidate to turn Britain into the Fourth Reich, which will entice racists but not the greater public.

A Starmer government has never looked more likely… It’s actually comical, like watching Luigi win Mario Party minigames by doing absolutely nothing.

  5. He will cling on because nobody in his party will want to step up, the role is a poison chalice for anybody with a brain cell.

Imo Starmer would be well served not interupting his enemy while he’s making a mistake.

This will be old news in a few months, the british piblic are dumb AF and constantly vote for these scummy corrupt assholes even though most of the eton lot would’t piss on them if they were fire.

  6. Pointless poll is pointless. There isn’t going to be another general election for 3 years. If Johnson goes now, or in early 2022, then we are going to get some equally horrific ghoul hoisted on us as Prime Minister by the nasty party.

    – Labour wont try and force a VONC in the house as the Tories will whip and present a united front.

    – Never underestimate just how nasty the nasty party can get; they will cling onto power for as long as they can and cut off their noses to spite their own face. Yes, they can be smart operators, but in the face of mounting pressure from the centrists and the left/liberals in the house and in the press, they will just sit on their 80 seat majority.
