  1. Undocumented and immigration are spelled wrong. Probably as much fact checking as there was spell checking.

Not any mention of the dog shit problem, the litter problem and kids attacking Deliveroo cyclists and scrotes robbing the bikes outside McDonalds.

  2. Obviously the government, or an independent state-body sending out pamphlets of accurate information to counter this misinformation, right?

  3. Nothing says “legitimate concerns” like an anonymous letter full of spelling mistakes and misconceptions (what exactly do they mean by “undocumented”?).

  4. I noticed a mention of ‘centers’. I’m guessing these are yanks, or they spend so much time on the internet they’re writing in American

  5. God the absolute lack of education here.

All of the errors and they expect to be taken seriously?

Its disgusting and teaching children that young to hate should be a criminal offence.

Awful people who do not speak for Ireland.

  6. Ironic they mention Citywest. I’ve lived here my whole life and all the trouble here is caused by locals the vast majority of the time. But as soon as the refugees have a scrap they act like its the end of the world.

  7. How do they know all the men are single?

Edit: Actually, someone probably asked them all since they apparently spend all their time just walking around the area.

Edit 2: Are they undocumented or international protection applicants? If they are international protection applicants, shouldn’t that have been documented at some point?

  8. Apart from the spelling errors, what exactly are people taking issue with?

An 8% increase overnight in population is absolutey a cause for concern. As is the ambulance and fire certificate issues. It seems to raise some legitimate points but nobody in this thread seems to want to acknowledge that

  9. I live in East Wall, and I got a letter in through my postbox today as well:

“As members of the East Wall community, we are asking for the current protests to stop”

These protesters are not representative of the people here, and to be honest most of them seem to be blow-ins from elsewhere looking to hijack real issues in this community to advance their far-right agenda
